Across our campuses, our three libraries provide vibrant, interactive learning resource centres. Knowledgeable staff can assist students and staff with curriculum based queries as well as providing assistance on general interest topics.
Our Libraries are dynamic learning facilities capable of catering for diverse learning/teaching styles. We have large semi flexible open spaces fitted out with mobile furniture enabling the creation of formal teaching spaces, as well as a more open approach plan of lounges, ottomans, booth seating and large class seating mats at Junior Campus.
Our Libraries are equipped with extensive book collections. We update our collections regularly and students and staff are encouraged to provide input by way of a ‘wish list’. We also offer students the opportunity to borrow calculators and other IT equipment that enrich their learning journey.
Lunchtimes can be particularly busy at all campuses. The Library provides a relaxed happy environment to meet friends, read a book or play one of our many board games. Chess remains always popular on both Middle and Senior campuses. Lunchtime movies on our big screen feature during the week. Music days and various theme days occur throughout the year.
Library staff are keen to keep our libraries modern interactive learning hubs across Roma State College.
