Students' Sporting Success

Students’ Sporting Success:
Over the past month, we have had a few students involved in very exciting sporting competitions in their chosen sports, and as a school community, we are very proud of them.
Year 12 student, Tom Eddie, was selected and played in the U20 T - League Swans team in the National Touch League Championships in Coffs Habour from the 8th to 11th March. Apart from a dislocated finger, Tom enjoyed this experience and should be very proud of this achievement to be called into this Senior team at such a young age.
Sisters, Molly (Yr 12) and Sade (Yr 9) Ferguson, have competed in two national water-skiing competitions over Term 1. They have competed at the International Moomba Masters and are still awaiting final rankings to be released. They also competed at the Aussie-Kiwi competition in Myunna Bay, and received the following results, which they should be very proud:
Molly – Under 17  Slalom – 1st place; Jump – 2nd place; Tricks – 4th place; Overall – Bronze Medal; Under 17 Team result – Gold overall.
Sade – Under 14 Slalom – 1st place; Jump – 1st place; Tricks – 1st place; Overall – Gold Medal; Under 14 Team result – Gold overall.
Congratulations,  Tom, Molly and Sade on these team selections.
