THE ROMA COLLEGE CHAPLAINCY SERVICE
The chaplaincy program at Roma State College gives support to students, staff and families in religious and spiritual matters to students and may also deal with ethical matters. Our chaplaincy program complements other welfare services in the school such as those offered by the Guidance Officer.
Roma State College chaplains contribute towards addressing religious, spiritual and/or ethical needs of students. Our chaplains model personally and own their own faith position and beliefs, whilst supporting and respecting the beliefs of all members of the school community.
Our chaplaincy service is open to all who choose to participate, respecting all beliefs and stances represented within the college community. Programs of chaplaincy services operate within the policies and practices that apply to delivery of any service in a multi-faith and multicultural state school community. Religious Instruction is not part of the school’s program of chaplaincy services
Local community support is required for the continuation of the chaplaincy program. If you are interested in supporting the Chaplaincy Program, feel free to contact our school Chaplains, or the campus offices for more information.
